Our client is a well-known international group with a global HQ in Geneva area and a presence in more than 50 countries around the world.
We are currently looking for its Group Internal Audit Director to lead the department.
Description
1. Audit / confirm application of internal control processes (design / deployment / performance / improvement),
2. Design, propose, execute, adjust yearly risk-based internal audit plan (incl. communication and stakeholders management),
3. Coordinate and/or participate in internal audits as Lead Auditor across the Group according to plan and priorities,
4. Ensure audit reporting, action plan implementation / execution and follow-up on findings/corrective actions,
5. Identify risks and priorities using decision-making tools (risk/impact matrix, KPIs),
6. Investigate fraud via a fraud risk assessment that uses fraud deterrence principles,
7. Gather, analyze, evaluate and present accounting documentation, reports, data and flowcharts,
8. Leadership and team management: responsible for managing and developing the Group Internal Audit team. This includes recruiting and retaining talents, providing guidance and mentorship, setting performance objectives and fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment,
9. Communicate trends and emerging issues and act as a change agent or catalyst globally.
Profil recherché
1. Master's Degree in Audit/Finance (CIA a plus)
2. +10 years of experience in Internal Auditing in an international fast-paced and complex environment
3. Proven track record in people management
4. Strong leadership, influencing and follow-up skills
5. Excellent analytical skills and judgement to make informed recommendations and decisions
6. Able to identify risks and opportunities, and propose solutions
7. Act as a change agent to anticipate/integrate/promote new requirements and trends
8. Able to operate and communicate at various levels throughout the Group
9. Sound independent/impartial judgement, integrity, high ethical work standards
10. Fluent in English, French a strong plus.
