About Our ClientOur client, an international biopharmaceutical leader, is looking for a skilled and experienced Global Pricing Director to join their Global Value & Access team on a 50% assignment. This role is essential to the strategic and operational pricing function, supporting a diverse portfolio of products. This part-time opportunity offers a flexible, remote working arrangement within Switzerland and the chance to shape global pricing strategies at a high level. Job DescriptionStrategic Pricing Development: Define and execute global pricing strategies and policies for product launches and life cycle management (LCM) initiatives. Consider brand positioning, payer assessment, competitive environment, and market profitability.Operational Pricing Execution: Manage localization and execution of global pricing strategies, including post-launch adjustments. Oversee governance, ensuring consistent policy adherence across regions.Cross-functional Engagement: Collaborate with regional affiliates, access strategy and HEOR teams, and senior directors. Represent the Global Pricing team in cross-functional projects and committees.Business Development Pricing Assessment: Lead robust pricing assessments to support strategic business development and ensure compliance with global policies through affiliate collaboration.Pricing Committee Coordination: Analyze and process local pricing requests and price adjustments. Prepare for and facilitate decision-making within the Global Pricing Committee (GPC).Governance and Pricing Systems: Ensure pricing system accuracy and consistency across all affiliates. Maintain strong connections with departments like Supply Chain to streamline operational pricing.Pricing Research and Reporting: Conduct research with external vendors to inform pricing decisions. Maintain dashboards for core brands, perform international reference pricing analysis, and deliver ad hoc reports as needed.The Successful ApplicantEducation: Advanced degree in a relevant field, such as life sciences or finance.Experience: A minimum of 8 years of experience in global brand pricing and market access, ideally in the pharmaceutical or consultancy sectors.Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
