Our client is a Swiss PE backed startup company with an international footprint. To support their growth & expansion plans in Switzerland, they are looking to reinforce their Finance team.
In this role, you will support the CFO to establish and integrate accounting and reporting practices for several entities in Switzerland.
We are looking for people with an entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to work in a growing environment, who have a drive to take ownership and responsibility to support their growth and work on the implementation of finance practices.
What you will be responsible for:
* Manage monthly, quarterly and yearly closings
* Assist with day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable
* Manage expense reports, invoicing, and bank reconciliations
* Help to monitor and manage cash flow and ensure accurate record-keeping
* Collaborate with external accountants to provide necessary documentation and help prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports
* Contribute to the preparation of financial statements and reports to leadership under Swiss OR
* Transition accounting functions from outsourced providers to in-house processes ensuring smooth handover and consistent communication
* Support the development and implementation of new accounting procedures, systems, and workflows
* Manage administrative tasks related to finance, such as filing, document management, and correspondence
* Assist with office management duties, including supplies, vendor management, and other tasks that keep the team running smoothly
What you bring technically:
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
* Experience reporting under Swiss OR and IFRS
* Ideally experience in Treuhand or small Accounting firms, or dealing with several entities
* Strong command of Abacus is preferred
* Fluency in German (C2/Native level) and English is a must
