You are the technical lead and manager for a team of data engineers which develop and maintain business intelligence services.
You will maintain day-to-day operations including incident prioritization and resolution and own operational KPI’s for business intelligence.
You engage with the relevant stakeholders to define and ensure alignment of solutions with the overall architecture and IT strategy in conjunction with the architecture team.
You enhance data quality, data governance, and data processes leveraging existing and/or non-existing solutions.
You maintain the data community using the forum to drive development of standards and best practices based on community needs around data management.
You maintain and enhance Conceptual/Logical/Physical data models for the Enterprise and own data architecture.
You evaluate new and emerging technologies and make recommendations on how they should or should not be used.
Minimum Qualifications:
MS in Business Administration, Information Technology or similar.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proven ability to communicate with stakeholders up to C-suite. German or French would be a plus.
Strong business orientation, preferably with experience in the energy industry, trading, finance, or risk.
Experience developing and implementing enterprise BI or Data & Analytics strategy.
10+ years technical leadership experience in the data & analytics or other IT domains, with a demonstrated ability to lead teams with a high standard of communication both downwards, laterally, and upwards.
10+ years experience in data warehousing, data modeling, and data governance.
5+ years experience in data engineering, with experience in a programming language: Python, Angular, Java.
2+ years experience in business intelligence solutions including experience in: Snowflake, Data Vault, MS Power BI, SAP Hana, SAP BO, SAP Data Services, Fivetran, DBT.
2+ years experience in project management, agile working, strategy development, networking & stakeholder management.
Experience working with AWS.
