Richemont’s ESG Excellence vision is to drive a systematic approach to ESG data, risks and controls in line with Richemont’s ESG Management System, and inspired by the principles of the continuous improvement process. ESG Excellence supports Group’s Non-financial reporting, overseeing the planning and execution of environmental data collection, in alignment with applicable reporting standards and internal requirements defined by Group Sustainability.
HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?
The Sustainability Data Analyst will assume a key role in the following areas:
Lead the quarterly consolidation of environmental data, working closely with reporting entities and Maisons to ensure accurate and complete data.
Maintain open communication with reporting entities and Maisons and provide information for specific and complex GHG accounting treatment.
Maintain the inventory of the Emission Factors, in collaboration with other Group expert functions and Maisons.
Ensure data consistency and accuracy across different reporting entities/Maisons and data sources, and contribute to creating control procedures.
Analyse the environmental reporting categories and provide Group Sustainability management with clear and meaningful information on significant movements and deviations.
Operate the restatements processes allowed under specific conditions (e.g. errors, change in calculation methodology, changes in reporting scope).
Contribute to preparing the consolidated annual environmental disclosures, as part of the Group Non-Financial Reporting process, as well as ad hoc local reporting requirements.
Facilitate the interim and annual external audit process.
Provide instruction and training to local finance controllers, particularly with regard to quarterly analytical reviews and year-end data submission.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the environmental data management platform (e.g. current SAP Analytics Cloud) and support the adoption of new tooling.
HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?
The Sustainability Data Analyst will bring the following background and experience:
Bachelor's degree in Finance & Accounting.
3 to 5 years of significant experience in consolidating group statutory accounts.
Experience in a Big Four firm or in a multinational company preferred.
Knowledge of GRI/ESRS and GHG Protocol is preferred.
