We are looking On behalf of our partner in Switzerland for a warm-hearted, adventurous nanny for a friendly, outdoorsy Swiss family living in Crans-Montana, a beautiful mountain region in Valais. The role begins in January 2025, with a transition period whilst the mother is on maternity leave before she returns to work in February. The nanny will work 46 hours per week, split over 3 days of 10-hour shifts (8 AM - 6 PM) and 2 days of 8-hour shifts (8 AM - 4 PM). The role focuses on caring for their 9–10-month-old baby, as well as supporting their 2.5-year-old daughter, who attends daycare three days a week.
Responsibilities include engaging the baby in age-appropriate activities, spending time outdoors, and planning enriching playtime. Light kitchen duties such as tidying up and assisting with meal prep are also expected. The family offers both live-in accommodation in their new home or a live-out option for candidates with their own place in Crans-Montana, Sion, or Sierre. The ideal candidate should be kind, adaptable, and enthusiastic about outdoor activities and nature, matching the family's active lifestyle. While previous Portuguese language experience is a plus, communication in French, German, And English are a must. The position does not require driving, as the location is well-connected with public transportation. Swimming skills are advantageous, as the grandparents nearby have a pool. Competitive salary offered, ranging from CHF 3,990 to CHF 4,900, depending on experience.

Flexible and adaptable to the family’s schedule, including occasional changes in parents’ work hours.
Willingness to support with light household duties, such as tidying the kitchen and assisting with meal preparation.
Ability to maintain a clean and organized personal space if living in.
Ability to work collaboratively with parents who are present at home, adapting to a dynamic household environment.
Comfortable with a trial month in January to get to know the family’s routines before the mother resumes full-time work in February.
