Global Sales Tender Management Lead
Description:
This is a critical role in driving global sales growth by leading internal and external teams to deliver customer value. The Global Sales Tender Management Lead will partner with top customers within Kuehne + Nagel, leveraging their expertise to build trust and drive tender success.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute tender management strategies that align with the company's goals and market trends.
* Create effective business review methodologies.
* Define rules of engagement for all processes within Global Tender Management.
* Lead and mentor the Tender Management Hemisphere teams to foster high performance and collaboration.
* Align internal stakeholders across departments and regions to support tender initiatives.
* Promote sales excellence internally and externally.
* Set clear performance expectations and provide constructive feedback to drive team excellence.
* Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement innovative solutions.
* Optimize resource distribution and manage personnel to maximize operational efficiency.
* Proactively identify and mitigate risks in customer engagement and tender process.
* Foster a culture of creativity within the TM teams.
Your Skills and Experience:
* 2-5 years of experience in Project Management with strong organizational and execution capabilities.
* Proven international experience with ability to navigate cross-cultural environments.
* At least 2 years of leadership experience managing teams across multiple regions.
* 5-10 years of experience in freight forwarding and logistics operations.
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in Pricing, Tender Management, or Excellence Management.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office / 365 with advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel.
* Fluency in English required; German language skills a plus.
* Willingsness to travel as needed to support global operations.
