The SIG AM-N Supply Chain Analyst will be supporting the planning, execution, and analysis of the region's Supply Chain Operations owning the make to stock business operations and is responsible for monitoring transit until goods are delivered and billed to the final customer. This role is also responsible for maintaining the Inbound receipt forecast for warehouse customers and running MRP to ensure that the flow of merchandise into the warehouses are balanced, and within the established parameters.
Key responsibilities
Define clear liabilities on inventories: No goods are purchased without a signed WH SLIA / POs
Collect data and provide information and detailed analytical support for SCM related functions.
Utilize data and analysis to solve day to day asset operation issues, expose problems within supply chain and drive resolution by bringing together information and key partners.
Prepare and support automation of SCM reporting KPI's and reconciliation efforts with the finance and global control organizations.
Logistics supplier's operational excellence program: implementing KPIs, performance evaluation, contracts adherence.
Maintain Inbound receipt forecast and establish reporting tools to ensure flow of merchandise into warehouse is balanced, and within established parameters.
Monitor industry standards, trends, or practices to identify developments in logistics planning or execution.
Active participation in the Transport Procurement Process (RFQ) and local customs cost reduction leveraged in local negotiations.
You bring these skills, experience & education
Bachelors’ degree required.
5 years prior supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment required.
Prior experience in project management and continuous improvement initiatives.
Advanced MS Office Skill Set – expert level Excel user preferred.
3 years of prior ERP experience, SAP preferred.
