Tasks
3Brain is currently developing, together with its partner CSEM, new post-processing for its innovative sensing chip technology and is looking to reinforce his team in this field with a full-time R&D Electroplating Technician. The working place will be Neuchâtel at the CSEM premises. This role combines technical execution with R&D responsibilities, aiming to increase production capacity while improving the quality and efficiency of our electroplating and planarization processes. Hands-on experience in a cleanroom environment is a strong advantage. Main responsibilities:
* Perform gold and copper electroplating processes on wafers, ensuring high-quality results.
* Conduct polishing and CMP (Chemical Mechanical Polishing) to achieve desired surface finishes and uniformity.
* Monitor and optimize electroplating and CMP parameters to improve process quality, consistency, and yield.
* Conduct experiments and trials to develop and refine electroplating and CMP techniques.
* Collaborate with the MEMS team to implement process improvements and troubleshoot issues.
* Maintain detailed documentation of processes, results, and improvements according to our quality standards.
* Follow cleanroom protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
* Process optimization using systematic approaches (DOE).
* Follow the state-of the art and development trends in the field of interest.
