Job Description: A British family living in Neuchatel is looking for a dynamic nanny-housekeeper to work live-in or live-out. The family has a 4-year-old girl and expects a baby in April 2024. A maternity nanny will help with the baby during the first three months. The ideal candidate lives already in Neuchâtel or Switzerland.
Start Date: Mid-February or early March 2025
Position Type: Live-in or live-out (accommodation available near the family home)
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, approximately 10 hours per day with availability to travel with the family.
Responsibilities:
Care for the older daughter aged 4 who will attend nursery twice a week and full-time from September.
Prepare meals for the family following recipes.
Support with the newborn, due in April, after the maternity nanny’s tenure ends (first three months).
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the home.
Handle grocery shopping and running errands.
Laundry and ironing.
Assist with luggage preparation.
Flexibility: The family may relocate to Zurich in one year; candidates should be open to this possibility.
Travel: Willingness to travel with the family as required.
Driving License: Not mandatory.
Pets: The family plans to have a small dog (sausage dog); candidates must be comfortable with pets.

Requirements:
EU/Swiss passport or Swiss Permit.
At least 3-5 years of experience in the same role working with private families and experience taking care of newborns and toddlers.

Dynamic, reliable, and organized.
Skilled in cooking and comfortable following recipes for simple family meals.
High cleaning standards.
Kind and adaptable to the family’s dynamic needs.
Happy to travel (UK and other EU countries).
A resident in Switzerland or nearby as the family requires someone familiar with the country and the region.
Accommodation is provided nearby if a live-in option is chosen.
