Research & Development delivers hearing solutions and services for individuals with hearing impairments, audiologists, and related professionals through the creation of hearing devices, accessories, web applications, mobile software, and PC tools.
Developing and testing microelectronics is your passion. With 3+ years of experience in development, testing, verification, and maintenance of ASICs, you will build on our success. Embedded in an international research and development team, you will support product creation by taking responsibility for the digital part of our ASICs used in hearing instruments. You will utilize state-of-the-art technology and software to develop best-in-class products.
Your Tasks
* Define the digital SoC/ASIC requirements that meet stakeholder needs, including processing cores, memory architecture, interfacing, and digital peripherals definition.
* Contribute to SoC/ASIC specifications with external semiconductor partners.
* Verify, integrate, and validate IC components according to requirements and specifications.
* Support IC qualification for industrialization.
* Define the FPGA platform used for ASIC emulation, verification, ROM development, early tests, including companion chips.
* Maintain the FPGA designs and platforms setups.
* Develop requirements and support schematics definition and PCB layout review for FPGA extension boards.
* Develop and verify the FPGA designs to support prototyping and functional verification of hearing instruments.
* Set up and maintain a Linux environment for running ASIC and FPGA tools.
* Define and maintain HW measurement setups and tools for electrical verification of electronic systems/platforms.
* Support microsystems-related issues in Operations and R&D.
Your Profile
* University degree in microelectronic engineering or equivalent.
* 3+ years' experience in digital circuit design.
* Passionate about electronic design and technologies.
* Experienced with digital design tools and hardware design languages.
* Experience with electronic lab test equipment.
* Experience in Hardware/Software setups and tools for ASIC functional emulation, verification, and IC characterization.
* Experience in Linux environments.
* Good knowledge of Python scripting and Microcontroller programming.
* Able to structure tasks, solution-oriented, and quality-aware.
* Willing to work in a distributed, diverse collaboration environment.
* Fluent in both spoken and written English.
