As an IT Test Manager, you'll oversee the entire testing lifecycle for our new advisory tool, ensuring high-quality software delivery. You'll lead the testing team and collaborate closely with stakeholders across the business, IT, and product teams. This role demands strategic vision, strong leadership, and expertise in quality assurance methodologies.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies aligned with business objectives and priorities
* Manage, lead, and mentor the testing team, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement
* Manage testing resources and timelines across multiple workstreams
* Develop and establish comprehensive test strategies, plans, and schedules tailored for the new advisory tool
* Oversee test planning and coordination across different testing phases (system testing, integration testing, UAT)
* Coordinate with business stakeholders to define user acceptance test cases and ensure testing activities align with business priorities
* Provide management-level reporting on testing progress, quality metrics, and risk management
* Partner with development teams to optimize the testing process within the agile delivery framework
* Guide the implementation and evolution of test automation strategies
Your profile
* A completed degree in computer science, information technology or a related field
* 5+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in a test management role
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both German and English
* Proven track record managing testing teams and processes for complex financial software implementations
* Strong understanding of testing methodologies, quality assurance processes, and industry best practices
* Experience establishing testing practices and frameworks in agile environments
* Experience with test management tools and understanding of automation frameworks
* Knowledge of financial services industry, preferably wealth management
* Exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
