Job Summary:
The Clinical Support Specialist will be responsible for facilitating commercial and professional education while ensuring seamless installation and onboarding for our cutting-edge VELYS system. This field-based position offers the chance to join a highly experienced and supportive team that prioritizes your professional growth.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Product Expert: Act as Product Expert for presentations with national accountability to multiple stakeholders across our hospital landscape in conjunction with the joints and Capital Sales Representative.
* Technical Support: Supports all Joints Salesforce and customer installation and technical service requirements in assigned regions.

* Best Practice Sharing: Sharing of best practice across region to ensure we constantly improve our integration of the robot.
* Expertise: Knowledge of publication, industry, or tech knowledge- be the expert in their field.
* Competitor Knowledge: Maintain knowledge of competitor products, be up to date with other offerings.
* New Product Rollout: Involved in roll out of new products/ updates
* Customer Relationships: Manages customer relationships as RAS expert before, during and after installation. Clinical support for surgeon customer during initial robotics procedures.
* Troubleshooting: Provides first line of service to internal and external customers for complex technical troubleshooting and resolution.
* Institutional Training: Delivers institutional facility training content to sterile processing, engineering, and others as required.
* Equipment Utilization: Assists sales organization with the efficient and effective utilization of equipment.
* Problem-Solving: Quickly identify and solve problems on-the-go
* Teamwork: Self-starter, ability to work without daily direction to increase results; Great Teammate – work closely with VELYS Digital Surgery partners and FSE (Field Service Engineer) and Joints Salesforce to show unified approach in improving the customer experience
Qualifications:
* Education: Higher education degree or equivalent experience (required)
* Specialization: Higher specialization in Medical Devices Sales (required)
* Clinical Experience: Min 3-5 years of clinical experience with Medical Devices (required)
* Joint Reconstruction: Experience with joint reconstruction in knee and hip (required)
* OR Presence: Readiness to be present in the OR during orthopedic surgeries (required)
* Languages: Fluency in English, German and French (required)
* Travel: Frequent travel in Switzerland, ability to travel on short notice
* Medical Software: Exposure to medical or surgical software/digital and/or capital equipment
* Hospital Requirements: Readiness to complete all necessary hospital- and government-imposed requirements and to follow all existing hospital and OR presence guidelines (required)
* Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and planning skills
