Procurement Director – La Prairie & Chantecaille
In this exciting role, you will be the Procurement co-pilot for the Luxury business and first point of escalation on senior management level within the respective business. You will report to SC VP La Prairie and will have a business reporting line to Beiersdorf VP Procurement and SC Director Chantecaille by being a part of SC Leadership Team in La Prairie, Chantecaille & Beiersdorf Global Procurement Management Team. As Director Procurement Luxury, you will play a leading role to define the procurement setup/structure in our luxury business in alignment with Beiersdorf procurement areas & regions and rolling out standard global procurement processes and compliance.
You will be leading a diverse team of 10-15 people, with 2-3 direct reports, across a broad geographical scope with high volatility and challenges.
How you will create a beautiful impact:
* Being responsible for ensuring targets are met for the total spend covered in Luxury business for indirect & marketing & direct areas.
* Develop, track, and optimize procurement KPIs to ensure efficiency, cost savings, supplier performance, and alignment with business objectives, while driving continuous improvement in sourcing and supply chain operations.
* Aligning and steering global Business and Procurement activities with internal business partners, continuously monitoring the related activities for opportunities to maximize Procurement value contribution to the business.
* Driving compliance internally and externally with the team, demand owners, and suppliers via our policies, processes, and code of conduct.
* Ensuring your team actively manages supplier relationships to ensure suppliers are able and willing to fulfill the luxury requirements and provide innovative and sustainable solutions.
* Driving development and implementation of activities contributing to the company’s sustainability roadmap (i.e., FSC, recycled paper & CO2).
* Driving development of processes with regards to standardization, harmonization, efficiency, digitalization, and automation.
* Being responsible for setting up, managing, and developing an engaged team of Procurement professionals in a matrix setup.
What you need to have to be our next audacious and creative talent:
* University Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or other relevant major.
* Holistic Procurement expertise ideally in diverse procurement areas including marketing, indirect, direct and procurement excellence. 8-10 years procurement experience preferred.
* Several years of work experience in relevant industries; overall experience of 15+ years preferred.
* Experience in leading change with a transformative mindset and designing conceptual initiatives.
* Strong leadership skills, particularly adaptability, agility, and team development.
* Proven strength in senior stakeholder management.
* Experienced and comfortable to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented and complex environment.
* Fluent English skills required; other languages are a plus.
