OBJECTIVE AND MAIN TASK OF THE FUNCTION
1. Best in class accounting team: no SOX or Accounting deficiencies/audit comments/delays for activities in scope
2. Project: participate to projects as required, get trained on new systems/processes and support teammates in the change management process
3. Continuous improvement mindset: propose/implement/support process improvements projects or initiatives
4. Team player: support teammates and colleagues, train new joiners, actively collaborate with peers and business partners. Speak-up and make one’s voice heard during global/team meetings
5. Standardization: participate to standardization & formalization of procedures.
6. Deputy Lead AP team: ensure backups are in place, all team members are trained and able to perform all AP tasks. Organize shifts for recurring/shared tasks i.e. mail requests handling. Ensure level of service is guaranteed during peak times and/or vacation. Follow-up on open items and backlog, alert management if the situation is getting out of control.
7. Be a superuser for the tools in scope of the team i.e. Concur, Stampli, etc.
TASKS
8. Booking of some AP Sub-Ledger entries
9. Weekly payment run
10. Booking of the payment at the Infoflo System of all AP invoice payments
11. Monthly/Yearly AP sub-ledger closing: support, booking and reconciliations
12. Preparation of several AP financial reports
13. Prepare AP accruals & reconciliations
14. Administrative work/support in Accounting
15. Special tasks/projects on demand
16. Support of Finance Management with various analysis, reports and other tasks
REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS
Education:Commercial Finance Diploma(Kaufmännische Grundausbildung mit fachspezifischer Weiterbildung (z.B. Sachbearbeiter Rechnungswesen)
Special Knowledge:Excellent communication in English - spoken and written
German and/or French is a strong asset
Very good excel skills is required
Personality:Distinguished ability to work under pressure even in periods of heavy workload and high capacit
Excellent ability to communicate with colleagues and superiors
Professional Experience:Min. 3-4 years of experience in that field, ideally in an international environment
Previous team management experience is a plus
