Safety Perception Engineer Intern

Aufgaben
- Entwicklung von LiDAR-Algorithmen für die Sicherheit von Fahrzeugen.
- Testen der Software in Simulationen und realen Umgebungen.
- Zusammenarbeit mit Ingenieuren zur Optimierung autonomer Systeme.
Fähigkeiten
- Du solltest einen Master in Informatik oder Robotik anstreben.
- Hervorragende C++-Kenntnisse sind erforderlich.
- Erfahrung mit Robotik-Wahrnehmungsalgorithmen ist von Vorteil.

We are looking for an enthusiastic intern eager to contribute to the development of our safety perception software, which enables our systems to safely drive more than 1000 cars a day. Join our Safety Perception team to play an important role in the development of new cutting-edge solutions for our autonomous driving systems, both for passenger cars in factories and autonomous trucks in yards and ports. Your job will involve developing LiDAR algorithms, as well as testing it in simulation, on Embotech's testing vehicles and at Embotech's production environments. Requirements

Pursuing a master's degree in computer science, – Develop innovative algorithmic solutions to engineering, or robotics improve our LiDAR-based perception stack –
Great C++ skills
– Design and implement software using C++ –
Experience with robotics perception algorithms and – Develop and work with automated testing tools for sensors (LiDAR, computer vision, SLAM) system-level verification –
Excellent communication skills in English
- Integrate and test software on test setup (SIL/HIL) and
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and in real-life deployments requirements
- Collaborate with system architects, software and
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills hardware engineers
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment Plus
