As our new Senior Microsoft License Consultant, your focus will be to drive cost reduction within spot projects and recurring engagement with our customers. You will get to work with a variety of customers of all sizes, evaluating their needs, conducting scenario analyses, and assisting them with negotiations. You will effectively manage and execute multiple customer projects, ensuring they are delivered within the defined scope, budget, and timeline.
Other responsibilities will include:
* Becoming a trusted advisor to our customers and partners regarding SAM and licensing optimization, meeting with them face-to-face and remotely as needed
* Collaborating with large enterprises, mid-size enterprises, and partners
* Developing overall governance, reducing the risks of non-compliance, and highlighting savings opportunities to customers
* Identifying upsell opportunities, additional services, and transactional business with customers
* Focusing on upskilling and staying up to date on licensing models for software vendors
* 5+ years of working experience, including the delivery of SAM, Procurement or FinOps projects, combined with a consulting background
* 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Cloud solutions and Azure
* Hands-on experience with licensing models and SAM with commercial customers across all industry sectors
* Updated knowledge of Microsoft Licensing & software solutions
