Job Description: The FEI is looking for a full-time Administrator (100%) who will provide support to the Jumping Department. To start, this is a fixed-term duration contract of 6 months with the possibility to convert to a permanent position. The position is based in Lausanne and is available immediately.
Reports and Education Administrator Purpose of the Role
Reporting to the Director of the Jumping Department, the candidate will be mainly responsible for the proper and entire follow-up of various reports received from FEI Officials while also providing general administrative support in all matters related to Officials and Education.
Key Responsibilities
Reports:
Responsible for the complete follow-up process of all Officials reports including the documentation of all Event reports, the preparation of letters to the Organising Committees and compilation of all suggestions of improvements of each Event;
Reporting on the Event Classification System;
Follow-up of the Official Warnings and Yellow Card Reports and Documentation;
Provide general assistance to the Director in any report related matters.
Courses and Officials:
Liaison with the Education & Officials Department to support Level One (1) candidates in matters related to their Education and Courses;
Provide general assistance with tasks related to Education.
Safety Cups:
Liaise with testing facility;
Update documents when New Safety Cups are approved.
Timing Devices:
Liaise with the Technology & Sport Services Department;
Update document when required and publish.
General:
Overall Support to the Jumping Director and Jumping Department.
Position Requirements
Good knowledge of Jumping discipline and experience of equestrian sports essential;
Fluent in English (C1 written and spoken); French and other language are an asset;
Excellent command of MS Office;
Rigorous, meticulous with strong organizational skills;
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines;
Strong organisational skills;
Good team player.
