We are hiring an Accountant/Controller
M/F, 100%, Chiasso, Switzerland
Reporting to the Head of Group Accounting and IT Finance
The Role
In order to strengthen the Accounting team at the head office, we are looking for a dynamic and precise figure for the role of Accountant - Controller. The resource will initially be involved in projects to integrate the main accounting processes and standardize the Internal Control System in the companies of the Group, ensuring compliance with current local regulations.
Key responsibilities include
* Ensure integrity of financial Statements and management reports in accordance with the Consolidation Manual based on Swiss accounting standards and support their introduction and application.
* Contribute to the rollout of the ERP SAP in compliance with Accounting & Reporting requirements.
* Support the introduction of the ICS and ensure its application and maintenance.
* Review the management accounting and CO allocations to ensure an accurate handover of data to the Controlling dept.
Your Profile
We are looking for a highly skilled professional with:
* Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Accounting/Financial Controlling, and/or Accountant with Swiss Federal Certificate.
* Proven experience of at least 5 years in Accounting, specifically with CH GAAP Swiss tax and VAT. Audit company (big-four) is a plus.
* Proficiency in SAP S/4 HANA and Microsoft Excel are highly required.
* In-depth understanding of Accounting processes or business process with direct impact on Finance.
* Knowledge of consolidation techniques is an asset.
* Strong attitude in reporting and analyzing financial and controlling data.
* Demonstrated capability in detail-oriented tasks and a strong focus on compliance.
* Fluent in German and English.
