Job Description
Role
1. You will build, develop and lead a team in the areas of sales and marketing
2. This role includes both strategic planning and operational sales management for our own IP product portfolio. To achieve successful market penetration, you will spend much of your time in direct contact with our customers. You will enjoy interacting with customers and opening new doors
3. A key element of your work will be to identify and assess the market potential at individual customer level for our integrated solutions that combine primary packaging, drug delivery devices and digital health services
4. With your solid understanding of pharma processes, you will be able to build and expand business relationships in the early stages of drug development. To establish a strong value proposition, you will have a solid understanding of the entire healthcare system, including commercial models
5. You will take the lead when it comes to commercialization strategies, negotiations and defining contracts
6. Together with Product Management and the Digital Health team, you will define the product USP for our client offerings
7. You will oversee and lead the planning and allocation of the sales and marketing budget as well as the right team composition including external sales partners
8. You will take the lead when it comes to marketing strategies, negotiations and contract drafting
9. Based on your in-depth market knowledge, customer understanding and on the basis of market and trend analyses, you will actively initiate innovations in the organization
Qualifications
Profile
10. University degree natural sciences or business administration management with several years of experience in selling into pharma
11. Established international network in the pharmaceutical / biotechnology industry
12. Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
13. Experience with scientific and commercial presentations in an international environment (focus currently on Western Europe and North America)
14. Technical understanding in the field of medical devices and first points of contact in the field of digital health
15. Solid experience in dealing with market data and statistics for sales management
16. High degree of leadership, enthusiasm, empathy, assertiveness, results orientation, initiative, commitment and willingness to travel internationally
