Lecturer / Senior Lecturer – Cyber Security (Management) Education Focused

About the Role
This position will focus on course development, research outputs, quality assurance, industry engagement, student support, and administrative duties. We seek candidates who can apply their expertise from various disciplines to Cyber Security, with a strong emphasis on Management, Governance, Policy, Ethics, Risk, Crisis Leadership, and Business Continuity.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Develop and teach courses that integrate Cyber Security with disciplines like Business, Social Sciences, Law, or Humanities;
* Pursue research outputs that contribute to the school's reputation and visibility in the field of Cyber Security;
* Ensure the quality of our programs through ongoing quality assurance processes;
* Foster partnerships with industry stakeholders to advance the school's profile and influence;
* Provide support and guidance to students from diverse backgrounds;
* Undertake administrative tasks related to the management of the school's programs.
About You
We are seeking an exceptional individual with a PhD in a relevant discipline and relevant work experience. The ideal candidate should have up-to-date knowledge and professional development in their field, as well as industry experience in managing Cyber (or IT) functions from a strategic and/or operational perspective.
A strong track record of teaching and learning design, development, and delivery at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels is essential. Experience using educational technologies and online delivery methods is also highly desirable.
The successful candidate will demonstrate evidence of teaching effectiveness, passion for educational excellence, and a commitment to promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion. A strong research profile, including publications and/or grant successes, is also highly valued.
