Job Description
An opportunity has arisen to join the R&D Leadership Team as the R&D Strategic Manager. Based in Rolle, Switzerland, the role reports directly to the Chief Scientific Officer (CSO) and works cross-functionally with R&D Vice President’s from diverse segments, including Human Nutrition, Animal and Pet Nutrition, Health & Wellness, Precision Fermentation, Oil Seeds, Carbohydrate Solutions, Research Process and Development. The candidate will work in a dynamic environment, supporting the processes, operations and communications aligned to the global R&D strategy, with scope for continued professional development.
Your responsibilities:
Strategic Planning and Alignment:
1. Support the CSO with strategic R&D initiatives, processes and deliverables
2. Work cross-functionally within the R&D Leadership team, staying connected to key developments in R&D (, services and capabilities), as well as business growth and market demands
3. Develop strategic material for the global R&D organization
4. Foster a 1ADM culture of innovation and excellence
Project Management:
5. Manage and prioritize concurrent projects within a dynamic environment
6. Drive independent and collaborative projects
7. Planning, agendas, KPI and portfolio reporting
8. Facilitate communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams to drive project success and operational efficiency
Your profile:
9. Excellent organizational, analytical and planning skills
10. Proven track record in strategic planning, project management, and cross-functional collaboration
11. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
12. Ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner to targeted audiences
13. Experience in corporate R&D, interacting with diverse departments would be advantageous
14. ADM is an international company with R&D facilities across multiple locations, the candidate should be amenable to limited travel
