You are an innovative problem solver with a focus on collaborative teamwork.
Tasks Spearhead all design aspects with compelling visual concepts, both physically as well as through 2D/3D digital assets of our running & bike footwear collections, from trend research, product development to final product.
Unleash your creativity with sketches, design renderings, and 3D tooling designs that push performance boundaries.
Coordinate resources to create a unique and cohesive footwear design direction with the respective target groups in mind.
Collect insights through observing, product testing, research, and working closely with athletes/end users ensuring designs meet real-world performance needs.
Drive 3D development coordination and align footwear collections with apparel and socks.
Partner with Footwear Product Managers, Developers & Engineers to bring designs to life.
Lead the charge in creating a cohesive collection overview and dynamic colorways.
Stay at the forefront of new technologies and manufacturing techniques, implementing them into future products.
Create innovative technology platforms that underpin product categories.
Collaborate closely with other Designers to bring new and better toolbox solutions, such as new technologies, construction techniques, features, etc.
Your Profile Familiarity with contemporary sports and fashion culture and trends.
Degree in Product or Industrial Design or equivalent experience, and a minimum of 8+ years’ hands-on experience designing products.
Conceptual thinker able to visually communicate ideas efficiently and effectively and have demonstrated graphic design skills, including drawing/sketching, ideation, colour and proportions, visual presentation, and layout.
Extensive experience with a variety of materials and manufacturing processes such as: injection molding, composites, 3D printing, and textiles.
Excellent team player with the ability to take direction, work with minimal supervision, and mentor other team members.
Excellent planning, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Technically proficient, comfortable using the Adobe Suite and 3D modelling software (Solidworks, Rhino, or similar).
Proactive in identifying the root cause of issues, seeking the best (sometimes not the easiest) solutions with an unwavering commitment to do what is right.
Team player who can operate effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines.
Fluency in English; additional languages are a welcome bonus.
