We are looking for a professional Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager for EMEA Central Production Units. You will be responsible for the integration of environmental, health, and safety aspects into business practices and compliance with regulatory requirements in CPU. All plants from the Automotive and Industry sectors are brought together and centrally organized in CPU with 18 locations in seven countries and around 1,800 employees. In this function, you will work together with the local operation EHS Managers, the Cluster CPU Heads, and the Regional EHS & Sustainability Manager. Location: Position that could be located in one of Sika European Countries with 50% travel. Job Description Advise and support the Head CPU Manager by implementing a Sika Vision Zero culture and roll out the EHS strategies in the area. Support and define measures to improve the area EHS performance by analyzing relevant KPIs, current practices, preventive measures, and investigating accidents/incidents in close collaboration with Regional and EHS managers. Provide professional support and training to the local EHS Managers. Support the professional exchange of information and topics between the local entities sharing Best Demonstrated Practices. Actively support EHS and risk audits as well as incident & accident reporting, environmental reporting, and Sika Crisis Management. Qualifications Bachelor or masters degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar education with 5+ years of experience within Health & Safety and/or Sustainability. Proven experience in executing complex projects as part of a matrix organization and working with multi cultural, remote teams.
