Position Summary
We are seeking a Manufacturing Specialist to join our team at Nestlé Product & Technology Center (NPTC) Nutrition in Konolfingen, Switzerland.
A Day in the Life of a Manufacturing Specialist
* Supporting factories in the deployment of new process technologies and new product developments in the area of liquid dairy/formulations manufacturing.
* Contributing to R&D product and process development projects.
* Providing technical support to the operations in terms of process and recipe improvements.
* Approving and releasing new or modified products/recipes. Writing and updating guidelines, instructions, and standards.
* Proposing, planning, and delivering technical and scientific support in projects for PTC/R&DC/NRC and/or Markets.
* Managing knowledge building and business-related project activities with initiative.
* Presenting results/methods in written and oral form to interested parties or visitors.
* Developing related tools and competencies in the area of liquid dairy manufacturing. Knowledge transfer to factories (Application groups, production, quality, others).
Requirements
* Bachelor or Master Science degree in technology/science or equivalent.
* Practical experience in liquid dairy processing and knowledge of the liquid dairy product category.
* Solid factory experience in the dairy industry.
* Proficiency in English (spoken, read); other languages are an advantage.
* Problem-solving and solution-finding skills.
* Good interpersonal/teamwork skills and a good sense of business/technical interrelationships.
