The Role works closely with the Manager, Revenue Accounting to capture and record necessary data ensuring revenue and costs are recorded in accordance with company policy and accounting regulations. The position is responsible for the control and reconciliation of inventories of Masimo International and its subsidiaries.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Assists in intercompany revenue process and controls from order placement to invoice booking.
* Performs periodic inventory control and reconciliations.
* Executes monthly and quarterly revenue accounting close procedures relating to revenue deferred revenue and cost of goods including journal entry preparation posting account reconciliation analysis and reporting.
* Supports processes over the Revenue recognition cycle ensuring revenue and costs are booked accurately and in accordance with US GAAP guidelines including arrangements with multiple elements.
* Maintains deferred revenue schedules requiring manual recognition.
* Maintains records and ensures timely booking of accruals for revenue COGS inventory adjustments.
* Prepares quarterly and ad-hoc Sales Reporting to support Senior Management.
* Updates periodically the Policies for the account receivables and revenue recognition process as well as related internal controls.
* Supports Financial and SOX audits.
* Ensures statutory compliance for revenue cogs and inventory reconciliation.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Finance/accounting degree or equivalent.
* Self-motivation and ability to work in a fast-paced forward-moving environment.
* Experience working in a US company and multinational environment a plus.
* Good English oral and written skills other languages an advantage.
* Proficient user of MS office with a strong focus on Excel.
Education:
* Masters/Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent.
