Job Title: IT Support Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team in Neuchatel and Cham, Switzerland.
This is a part-time dispatch position requiring 10-20 hours of work per week.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Familiarity with computer hardware and software, including XP, Windows 7, 8.1, 10, and Microsoft Office 2010.
* Knowledge of Cisco Jabber and other authorized desktop applications.
* Basic understanding of Mac operating system for supporting Apple PC users.
* Able to install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot printers and computer hardware.
* Familiarity with diagnostic tools for troubleshooting network connectivity and workstation hardware/software issues.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide first and second-level contact and problem resolution for customer issues.
2. Work with third-party vendors to resolve complex AV issues as needed.
3. Maintain timely communication on issue status and resolution.
4. Update tickets for all reported incidents.
5. Perform general preventative maintenance tasks on computers, laptops, and printers.
6. Repair desktops, laptops, printers, and other authorized peripheral equipment as needed.
7. Collaborate with the team to achieve project goals and objectives.
Requirements:
* Candidate must hold a valid work permit for Switzerland.
* Good knowledge of computer systems and IT infrastructure.
* Proficiency in the local language at a B1 level or higher.
