Job Summary:
The Business Development Manager will drive the success of one or more of our largest strategic clients, overseeing client revenue and margin growth from start to finish. This role will collaborate with all necessary resources to ensure success.
This position is focused on the German market, with flexibility to be based in either Austria or Switzerland.
Your Role in Our Mission:
* Deliver sales of Iron Mountain Information Management solutions to new and existing enterprise accounts, increasing revenue, growth, and quota attainment.
* Build customer relationships through strategic conversations to understand organizational business objectives and goals.
* Serve as an industry expert to customers, understanding and influencing a wide range of stakeholders.
* Prospect for net new clients, expanding existing relationships and products of assigned accounts.
* Maintain a consistent 'pipeline' to meet and exceed quota attainment.
* Collaborate with customers on net new opportunities and navigate negotiated and RFP sales processes.
Required Skills and Experience:
* To be considered, you'll have significant direct solution sales experience selling business services, business process outsourcing, archiving, or similar offerings.
* Strong background and proven experience in strategic new business hunting, sales process, and solution selling.
* Able to develop solutions mapping to customer requirements.
* Experience delivering sales of technology solutions.
* Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills.
* Strong interpersonal, planning, and analytical skills.
* Ability to influence and negotiate.
* Decisive and able to think broadly, considering company-wide impacts.
* Effective teamwork at all levels within Iron Mountain and customer personnel (including C-level) on a wide range of topics.
* Language skills: German and English (professional level), French (nice to have).
