Bright Peak Therapeutics is searching for an experienced and highly motivated scientist to advance our expansion into the metabolic disease therapeutic area. This constitutes an exciting opportunity to take the technology platform at Bright Peak and use it to create the next generation of biologics for the treatment of obesity and its comorbidities, as part of a newly initiated metabolic diseases team. The successful candidate will likely have a background in in vivo & in vitro incretin biology, together with a broad outlook to obesity-associated comorbidities and other relevant areas such as immunology and biologics drug discovery. We look also for a few years' industry experience, possibly including a first leadership role. However, the main attributes should be enthusiasm for testing new ideas in drug discovery, combined with deep understanding of the mechanisms of metabolic diseases. The position is based in our new labs in the Allschwil biotech hub at Switzerland Innovation Park Basel Area.
