Responsibilities
* Conception, development, maintenance, evolution, testing, and documentation of the next generation software solutions
* This software supports the business of major sporting events like the Olympic Games, Commonwealth Games, or World Cups
* Ensure the highest quality and reliability of the software produced
* Manage high-level specifications and best practices for the team
* Mentor and coach developers by proactively identifying opportunities to enhance their skills, and act as a technical leader within the team
* Additional responsibilities include ensuring engineering maturity and quality control
* Lead and promote a culture of excellence and continuous improvement, while creating a safe environment for developers to experiment with radical and high-risk changes
Profile
* 5+ years of experience as a professional software developer
* Degree in Software Engineering or equivalent
* Resilient and able to operate in a dynamic and sometimes stressful environment
* Structured, systematic, and organized in your work; able to prioritize according to deadlines
* Optimistic, motivating, and visionary; available for travel abroad
Professional Requirements
* Proven experience in developing web applications with .NET / C# backend deployed in Docker or AKS
* Knowledge of frontend technologies is a plus
* Experience with automated testing and deployments, along with a good understanding of Agile principles (XP, Scrum, Kanban)
Languages
* Strong communication skills in English are mandatory
