Job Title: Contract and Service Manager | Fund Management
Our client is the asset management of an international bank in Zurich. We are looking for a contract manager (m, f, d) as:
Your Key Responsibilities:
1. Contract Monitoring and Lifecycle Management: Track contracts with external data providers, consultants, outsourcing partners, etc., throughout their entire life cycle.
2. Contractual Requirements Analysis: Continuously analyze contractual requirements with line managers to ensure performance and service quality meet expectations.
3. Adaptation and Optimization: Identify changing needs and adapt external services accordingly, while optimizing costs and budgeting.
4. Solving Operational Problems: Resolve issues with suppliers and ensure smooth service delivery.
5. Procurement Support: Assist Procurement in evaluating suppliers and conducting competitor comparisons to identify best practices.
6. Audit Coordination: Organize audits of data providers, consultants, and outsourcing partners, monitoring suppliers' contractually agreed performance to ensure compliance with all obligations and commitments.
7. Daily Task Handling: Independently manage daily tasks between internal and external stakeholders, particularly when dealing with inadequate service provision.
8. Market Data Management: Manage and process market data related contractual matters.
9. Restore Process Implementation: Implement restore processes in cases of complaints, change orders, etc.
10. Training Sessions: Conduct training sessions for the compliant use of market data, raising awareness among participants about risk-oriented use of services.
11. Communication and Projects: Maintain ongoing communication with service providers and engage in situational ad-hoc projects.
Your Profile:
1. Education: Master's or Bachelor's degree in (Business) Law or Economics.
2. Experience: Experience in contract management, preferably in the fund industry or banking.
3. Contract Understanding: Strong understanding of contract requirements and processes.
4. Project Leadership: Experience leading projects to optimize quality and value.
5. Vendor Knowledge: Familiarity with products of outsourcing partners, external consultant companies, and data providers (Bloomberg, Morningstar, etc.).
6. Independent Project Management: Interest in independent project management.
7. IT Skills: Basic IT knowledge of processes and systems (e.g., databases) and big data issues.
8. Pressure Management: Ability to work under pressure with flexibility.
9. Soft Skills: Excellent organizational and communication skills.
10. Language Proficiency: English and German language proficiency.
