Head Coach - Competitive Swim Programs
Under the guidance of the Associate Executive Director, the Head Coach oversees all daily operations for adult and youth swim teams. The role involves recruiting, hiring, and developing a team of swim coaches who can deliver high-quality YMCA and USA competitive swimming programs.

Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee daily operations of adult and youth swim teams, ensuring peak performance of YMCA competitive swim programs.
* Recruit, hire, and develop a team of swim coaches who meet YMCA and USA standards.
* Develop and implement high-quality YMCA and USA competitive swimming programs that align with the organization's mission and values.
* Provide leadership to part-time coaches and volunteers, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
* Collaborate with staff to ensure seamless operation of competitive swim programs.
Requirements:
1. Current Red Cross Lifeguarding certification or ability to obtain within 60 days.
2. American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor (W.S.I.) certification or equivalent experience/training.
3. Safety Training for Swim Coaches and USA certification within 60 days of hire.
4. Pass the USA Swimming background check and the Geneva Lakes Family YMCA background check before final hire.
5. 2+ years of swim coaching experience on a competitive team.
6. Passion for competitive swimming and enthusiasm for working with young athletes.
7. Background in competitive swimming, stroke mechanics, age-appropriate dryland training techniques, and USA swimming rules and regulations.
