Bloomberg News is looking for an agile and passionate journalist to join our Breaking News team in Zurich or Frankfurt, diving into the fast-paced world of market-moving news ranging from political stories to company news and monetary policy.
As a Breaking News editor you will be the first pair of eyes on any news story out of Switzerland or Germany. You will watch the constant flow of information from sources including social media, regulatory wires and company websites, and you'll use strong news judgement to decide what actually has potential to make an impact. You'll relay that information in headlines and dispatches as quickly and clearly as possible for our real-time clients.
Covering this-just-in news in Switzerland and Germany means getting up early and having your coffee before the morning rush hits the wires. You'll work alongside a skilled and dedicated team of editors who are not afraid to make split-second decisions, while also being able to take a step back and anticipate what will come next. You'll get to experience first hand the team spirit that characterizes Breaking News across all of the EMEA region.
