Medacta International is searching for an HR Generalist.
The HR Generalist plays a crucial role in supporting HR operations and initiatives, ensuring compliance with company policies and employment regulations. This position is responsible for handling key HR processes related to employee lifecycle management. The role requires a proactive individual with strong organizational skills, an ability to manage multiple tasks, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving. The role will need to support both the HQ functions and our international organizations.
The candidate will be responsible for managing the following activities:
* Employee Lifecycle Management: Assist in onboarding, offboarding and contract management;
* Talent Acquisition Support: Assist in recruitment processes for international branches as needed, supporting local HR teams;
* Compensation and Benefits Support: Collaborate with the C&B to align compensation and benefits practices;
* Compliance and Policies: Support the implementation and consistent application of HR policies and procedures;
* Performance Management: Assist in tracking performance evaluation cycles and supporting managers in related processes;
* Training and Development: Coordinate learning and development initiatives supporting the career growth of employees;
* HR Data and Reporting: Assist in maintaining HR data accuracy, tracking key metrics, and supporting HR reporting requirements;
* Special Projects: Support the Chief People Officer with international HR projects, including policy updates, process improvements, HR digitalization, and cultural initiatives.
The resource should also have the following skills:
Hard Skills
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, International Relations, Business Administration, or a related field is required; an advanced degree or certification in HR (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is preferred;
* Experience: 4-5 years of experience in HR generalist or HR specialist roles in an international environment with international exposure;
* Language Skills: High proficiency in English (both written and spoken) is required; fluency in additional languages relevant to the company’s operations (e.g., Italian, French, or German) is highly desirable;
* HR Knowledge: Solid understanding of HR principles, labor laws, and regulations;
* Analytical Skills: Proficiency in HR data analysis and reporting to support strategic decision-making;
* HR Technology Skills: Competency in using HRIS and other HR software tools;
* Other Skills: Strong MS Office skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and presentations; experience with HRIS systems and data management tools.
Soft Skills
* Cross-Cultural Communication: Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with international teams, adapting to diverse cultural and regulatory environments;
* Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and coordination skills to manage multiple HR activities;

* Problem Solving and Initiative: Proactive in identifying HR challenges and proposing effective solutions.
