Bio-Rad is looking for a Lean/Continuous Improvement Project Manager (100%) for its site in Cressier /FR.
How You’ll Make an Impact
1. Provide Lean support for projects of large scope and high complexity with cross-functional activities.
2. Lead moderate to complex cross-functional Lean projects, having significant long term strategic and financial impact for the company.
3. Identify key improvement thinking, approaches and capabilities critical to improving operational (productivity, lead time, quality, scrap, uptime, etc) and financial performance (cost, cash, revenue, manufacturing expense, operating margin) across our business.
4. Utilize a variety of methods to analyze existing workflows and processes.
5. Partner with stakeholders and SMEs to identify improvement opportunities and provide recommendations to management.
6. Partner with and provide leadership to senior leaders in determining Bio-Rad priorities and capability gaps to deliver on business objectives.
7. Help establish business metrics that drives business results through cross-functional management of initiatives.
8. Assess the value of various initiatives weighing effort vs. Impact.
9. Improve the decision-making model and problem-solving capabilities within high performance teams to increase autonomy and the pace of change at all levels.
10. Design, deliver and facilitate training on a wide array of Lean Six Sigma and process improvement
11. Embody and promote the lean thinking mindset in the organization. (Lead by Example)
What you bring
12. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in relevant technology.
13. 6+ years experience leading continuous improvement initiatives with lasting impact.
14. Black Belt Certification or equivalent in Lean or Six Sigma from recognized organization
15. Strong analytical skills including data collection and synthesis.
16. Proven success in thinking and acting from an enterprise viewpoint.
17. Demonstrated ability to collaborate with Senior Management in determining priorities and creating Kaizen Funnels accordingly.
18. Have experience implementing strategy through Policy Deployment (Hoshin Kanri)
19. Training or certification in one or more of the following: Standard Work, Visual and Daily Management, Problem Solving Process, Transactional Process Improvement, Value Stream Mapping.
20. Business and financial knowledge.
21. Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
