Job Summary:
Join our dynamic team as a Clinical Specialist where you will play a vital role in promoting and selling pharmaceutical products. As a Clinical Specialist, you will be responsible for communicating with healthcare professionals, conducting product demos, negotiating sales, and providing exceptional leadership in the field of pharmaceutical sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Education and Training:
Conduct comprehensive training programs for healthcare professionals, including surgeons, operating room staff, and nurses, on the safe and effective utilization of endoscopic spine surgery techniques and devices.
Provide in-depth knowledge and guidance on patient selection, preoperative planning, intraoperative techniques, and postoperative care specific to endoscopic spine surgery.
Develop educational materials, presentations, and workshops to facilitate learning and knowledge transfer.
Surgical Support and Troubleshooting:
Act as a clinical resource during endoscopic spine surgeries, providing on-site support and troubleshooting assistance to surgeons and operating room staff.
Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure proper setup, positioning, and utilization of endoscopic equipment and instrumentation.
Assist in intraoperative decision-making and problem-solving to optimize surgical outcomes.
Product Demonstrations and Evaluations:
Conduct product demonstrations and evaluations of endoscopic spine surgery devices and technologies to healthcare professionals, showcasing the features, benefits, and best practices for their use.
Collect feedback and insights from surgeons and other users to contribute to the development and improvement of endoscopic spine surgery products.
Clinical Research and Evidence Generation:
Collaborate with the medical affairs team to initiate and support clinical research studies related to endoscopic spine surgery, including data collection, analysis, and publication.
Stay updated with the latest scientific literature, clinical guidelines, and advancements in endoscopic spine surgery to provide evidence-based recommendations and support.
Collaboration and Relationship Building:
Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including surgeons, hospital staff, sales representatives, and internal teams, to enhance collaboration and support the adoption of endoscopic spine surgery techniques.
Participate in medical conferences, workshops, and industry events to network, share knowledge, and stay abreast of industry trends.
Qualifications:
Degree in a relevant field such as nursing, biomedical engineering, or a related healthcare discipline. Advanced degrees or certifications in spine surgery or endoscopy are desirable.
Extensive experience working in a clinical setting, preferably in the field of spine surgery or related disciplines.
Comprehensive knowledge of endoscopic spine surgery techniques, technologies, and instruments.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex medical information to diverse audiences.
Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities, with the capacity to make quick decisions in high-pressure situations.
Willingness to travel extensively to hospitals, clinics, and surgical centers to provide training and support.
