Job Title: Global Sourcing Manager - Software Procurement
The position of Global Sourcing Manager - Software Procurement is located at the Wallisellen branch office of Allianz Technology SE. The team coordinates the supplier relationship with global software providers and is responsible for purchasing activities aimed at strengthening the purchasing position of the Allianz Group worldwide.
This role involves strategic procurement processes in the software area, including negotiating large-volume software contracts with over 150,000 licenses. Strong analytical and negotiation skills are required to drive the Global Procurement Transformation agenda in Allianz.
The ideal candidate will have a background in business economics or IT engineering and a minimum of 5 years of experience in global strategic procurement, specifically with IBM PA portfolio and contracting. Fluency in English and German is necessary, with other language skills being an advantage.

Responsibilities:
* Conduct market analysis and predict future trends to design a category strategy with global procurement leadership and major stakeholders.
* Set up tenders and lead processes for Group-wide contracts in alignment with internal stakeholders.
* Negotiate new deals and major renewals, securing optimized value propositions through commercial terms, legal language, and risk mitigation.
* Lead demand collection and supplier portfolio management at the global level.
* Built trustful relationships with technical teams, business stakeholders, and suppliers as a Business Partner.
* Implement standards and optimize processes in the area of IT software licenses.
* Manage operational activities along the value chain of the procurement process, leveraging collaboration tools in the M365 environment.
Requirements:
* Completed studies in business economics or business/IT engineering or equivalent.
* Minimum 5 years of professional experience in global strategic procurement with strong focus on Infrastructure and Mainframe software.
* Deep knowledge of contract law for software and licenses.
* Knowledge of different negotiation methods and experiences in independent negotiations.
* Fluent in English; German and other language skills are an advantage.
* Safe handling of MS-Office and SAP Ariba.
* Strong communication skills and customer-centricity.
* Number affinity, analytical skills.
