Job Description
Client Onboarding and Account Management
* Oversees the entire client onboarding process including the maintenance of client accounts.
* Ensures that all procedures related to Know Your Customer (KYC), tenders, and contracts are properly managed and compliant with regulations.
* Formalizes and coordinates the implementation of procedures for setting up new client accounts, ensuring a smooth transition and integration into the company's systems.
Daily Commercial Operations Management
* Manages the daily aspects of commercial operations including deliveries, pricing, invoicing, payments, and reconciliation processes.
* Ensures the accuracy and completeness of all documentation related to precious metals deliveries.
* Monitors and reconciles client trade accounts, market positions, and balances to maintain accuracy and prevent discrepancies.
* Guarantees that invoicing for goods and services is carried out correctly and efficiently.
* Handles issues by resolving them or escalating them to the appropriate level to ensure they are addressed promptly.
Interdepartmental Communication Facilitation
* Ensures effective communication across various departments including relationship managers, production, logistics, treasury, trading, and back office.
* Acts as a liaison to promote synergy and streamline operations, ensuring all parts of the company are aligned and informed on client-related activities.
Operational Performance Improvement
* In collaboration with the Chief Operating Officer (COO), designs and monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) for operations.
* Focuses on improving operational efficiency and effectiveness through data-driven insights and continuous performance evaluation.
IT Development Support
* Works in tandem with IT project managers to help in the development or upgrading of IT tools related to client operations.
* Plays a crucial role in the integration of technological solutions that enhance client servicing and operational capabilities.
The Successful Applicant
* Masters degree in Economics, finance or other relevant field.
* 5-7 years of work experience in commodities trading house or financial institution in a similar position.
* Successful experience leading a team with various profiles and from various locations is a must.
* 2-3 years of experience in project management.
* Leadership skills and high drive.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and customer orientation.
* Agile and flexible mindset, reactive to requests.
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to interact with colleagues of diverse cultures; respect for diversity.
* Proficiency in spoken and written English is required.
