Be a strategic partner for local Government, Healthcare Institutes, Hospitals, Patients and Business Units to enable and improve market access of innovative therapeutic solutions for structural heart disease and advanced critical care technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead Market Access Projects including creating new therapeutic/device charge code, obtaining pricing approval and reimbursement approval.
* Provide direction to external project teams and participate in internal product launch teams.
* Develop and plan market access projects and activities with accountability for successful completion.
* Participate in industry groups to maintain dialogue with provincial government and influence policy formulation.
* Build relationships with KOLs and Healthcare related authorities.
* Develop local market access opportunities in collaboration with the sales team.
* Identify and evaluate market access process improvement and course correction opportunities.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree in a related field or Master's Degree in a related field.
* 4-10 years of previous related experience required or 8 years of previous related experience required.
* Experience in government relations, sales, tendering or pricing, reimbursement function, regulatory in multinational pharmaceutical or medical device companies required.
* Pricing & reimbursement experience is highly preferred.
* Medical education and health economic training background preferred.
