About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contract Specialist to join our team in the Zinc Department. As a Contract Specialist, you will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and issuing sales and purchase contracts, as well as related legal documents.
Main Responsibilities:
* Drafting and Reviewing Contracts: You will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating sales and purchase contracts, including all related legal documents such as Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Letters of Intent (LOIs), Force Majeure declarations, letters of notice, claims, and similar.
* Coordinating with Corporate Teams: You will work closely with Legal, Compliance, Insurance, Finance, and other corporate teams to ensure that contracts and related legal documents reflect corporate standards, policies, and practices.
* Providing Business-Oriented Advice: You will provide prompt, practical business-oriented legal and commercial advice directly to Trading.
* Risk Mitigation: You will identify potential legal and commercial risks and develop risk mitigation strategies for Trading.
* Supporting Internal Teams: You will assist various internal teams within the Zinc Department with regard to legal matters, queries, and disputes.
* Contract Administration: You will track and maintain the internal trading system and administration of contract files.
Requirements:
* Education: A Bachelor's degree or equivalent education in economics, law, or comparable fields such as paralegal diploma.
* Languages: Fluency in English verbal and written (corporate language) and a good understanding of any other language is an asset.
* IT Skills: Good knowledge of using IT applications, such as MS Office.
* Citizenship: Holding a Swiss work permit or passport holder of CH/EU.
