As a Junior Key Account Manager, you will take full ownership of building and expanding relationships with existing and new customers, partners, and distribution channels. You will collaborate with product managers and marketing teams in the Switzerland office to develop and execute sales strategies that drive growth with a comprehensive product portfolio, while actively engaging with the headquarters in Taiwan.
Your role will be pivotal in managing customer relationships, working with buyers, business managers, and marketing teams to strengthen ASUS’s market presence. You’ll be responsible for driving sell-in and sell-through performance, managing budgets, and leading partner marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility and sales.
Regular data analysis and market research will help optimize the product portfolio, enabling you to develop strategic plans with marketing and product teams. Frequent store visits and online monitoring will ensure ASUS secures optimal shelf space and visibility across both physical and digital retail channels. Additionally, you’ll organize occasional product training courses for new and existing partners.
This role requires a proactive, results-driven mindset, a hands-on approach with frequent customer visits, and a strong sense of ownership in driving ASUS’s retail success in Switzerland.
You will report to the Country Head and Business Development Manager based in Switzerland.
Job Responsibilities
1. Own Sales & Profitability – Manage sales targets and P&L for assigned retail accounts, ensuring business growth and profitability.
2. Build Strong Relationships – Develop and maintain connections with key decision-makers, including buyers, business managers, and marketing teams, to drive ASUS’s business goals.
3. Optimize Product Visibility – Secure and enhance ASUS product placement both online and in stores to maximize visibility and availability.
4. Monitor Retail Execution – Regularly visit stores to check inventory, shelf space, and marketing execution, ensuring ASUS maintains a strong retail presence.
5. Execute Marketing Strategies – Work with ASUS’s internal and customer marketing teams to develop and implement impactful marketing campaigns.
6. Ensure Effective Collaboration – Communicate and coordinate with internal teams and customers to successfully implement sales and marketing plans.
7. Expand Business Opportunities – Identify and develop new growth opportunities within key retail accounts to increase ASUS’s market share.
8. Drive Sales Performance – Track and improve sell-in and sell-through performance to achieve quarterly and annual targets.
9. Manage Budgets & Promotions – Plan and oversee budgets and promotional activities to support go-to-market strategies and boost sales.
10. Stay Ahead of Market Trends – Analyze market trends and competitor activity to provide insights that refine ASUS’s retail and marketing strategies.
11. Train & Support Retail Partners – Deliver product training and performance updates to ensure retail partners effectively sell ASUS products.
12. Be the Primary ASUS Contact – Serve as the key point of contact for all ASUS-related matters, ensuring strong customer support and satisfaction.
13. Advocate for ASUS – Work cross-functionally within ASUS to ensure customer needs are met while driving company objectives.
14. Stay Proactive & Results-Driven – Continuously seek growth opportunities and focus on achieving business success.
Qualifications & Experience
1. Proven Sales & Account Management Experience – 2+ years in key account management or sales within the IT or consumer electronics industry.
2. B2C Sales & Tech Passion – Experience in B2C sales within the IT sector or a strong passion for technology.
3. Relevant Education – Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, IT, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
4. Preferred Experience – Previous experience working with Swiss retailers is highly preferred.

Additional Requirements
In addition to regular visits to retail stores and customers across Switzerland, occasional international travel may be required once per quarter for QBRs.
