As Contract Manager you will play a key role in managing the end-to-end contract lifecycle with our aviation customers as well as partners. From initial drafting of the contractual documents (based on templates) over negotiation to final closure of agreements, you will ensure our contracts are compliant with corporate rules as well as aligned with our business processes and goals. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong negotiation skills and experience in managing software contracts, ideally within the aviation and / or software sectors.
Tasks
Key Responsibilities.
* Assuming responsibility for drafting, improving and updating contract templates together with legal stakeholders.
* Owning the contract negotiation process from start to end while collaborating with legal, sales, and other departments to align the contractual terms with business processes, company policies, and strategic objectives.
* Assessing and proactively mitigating contract management risks, such as financial, legal and security and other risks.
* Managing the contract library by securely storing, organizing and make all contracts accessible on a continued basis.
Primary Tasks.
* Draft, review, and manage customer/partner contracts together with legal, including software licensing agreements, SaaS agreements, hosting agreements including service-level agreements, partner agreements, and any other contractual documents, such as side-letters, amendments, NDAs, and statements of work - thereby always ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations as well as company standards.
* Lead the contract negotiations with the support of the different stakeholders (sales, business, IT, legal) while balancing customer needs with company interests to achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
* Monitor and manage the whole contract lifecycle, from initial drafting to renewal, amendments, and termination.
* Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks within contract terms and propose improvements to templates for streamlined contract processes.
* Maintain organized records of contracts and agreements, supporting internal teams with contract insights as needed.
Skills
Competence Requirements.
* Bachelor’s degree in business, law, or related field; a legal degree is a plus.
* Minimum of three years of experience in contract management, preferably in the software and aviation sectors.
* Proven track of successfully drafting and negotiating contracts.
* Know-how in the area of data protection agreements would be an advantage.

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills (in-house / ex-house) - with the ability to build effective working relationships across teams.
* Attention to detail to diligently manage the mark-up / redline process.
* Organized, and able to manage multiple contracts simultaneously.
* Excellent command of English (all contracts are in English).
