Client Distribution Leaders (CDLs) are highly experienced in actively managing, expanding and acquiring client and broker relationships. Their primary purpose is to accelerate profitable growth and retention by partnering with and supporting underwriting, while aligning with clients and brokers in support of their risk management programs.
Through their marketing efforts and the delivery of tailor made and creative solutions, they enhance the reputation of AXA XL.

As a CDL, you will be responsible for strategic account management and for strengthening the quality and depth of relationships with clients and brokers and, in doing so, developing a pipeline of opportunities for AXA XL’s underwriting units on new business. An important part is to ensure that the client gets best in class services, monitor client satisfaction and make sure AXA XL takes action accordingly. You will be responsible to drive business growth by enabling AXA XL’s brokers and clients gain seamless access to AXA XL’s risk management services, and multi-line property, casualty, professional and specialty propositions. As a CDL, you will be an integral part of AXA XL’s growth strategy.
What will your essential responsibilities include?
·Strategic account management for existing clients and brokers in collaboration with underwriting, operations, claims, risk consulting and other functions
·Developing new business opportunities
·Leading virtual global client and broker teams
·Working closely with underwriters in all lines of business with the objective of retaining existing clients and growing the portfolio profitably while maintaining the highest levels of service
·Analysing client’s needs and developing appropriate solutions together with product and service specialists
·Be the clients' "advocate" within AXA XL
·Representing AXA XL at relevant insurance market events and continuously acting as an ambassador to AXA XL in the insurance market
·Being a role model for collaboration within and outside the Swiss business unit

We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:
·You are a proven entrepreneur with strong track record in managing business / driving growth
·You possess knowledge and expertise in the global insurance market with profound underwriting and insurance operations experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Sound understanding and use of financial planning, analysis and reporting approaches as well as a familiarity with local market, distribution channels and competitors
·You demonstrate marketing and sales skills, including presentation, relationship development, and negotiation skills
·You are a self-starter and results oriented individual that is highly skilled in promoting teams and achieving real results through collaboration across product lines
·You have highly developed analytical skills with an ability to handle large and complex data
·You demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to perform effectively and efficiently in an ambivalent environment
·You are fluent (written and spoken) in German and English
