The Business Unit Robotics develops, produces and distributes pipetting robots for the automation of liquid handling processes for a wide range of customers from the pharmaceutical and food industry, all the way to cell and DNA research.
How you can make a difference:
Create, develop and manage a new sales team including recruiting, training, and managing new sales representatives.
Develop and implement strategic sales plans that expand a company’s customer base and solidify its presence.
Achieve growth and hit sales targets by effectively managing the team and assessing the team’s strengths and weaknesses.
Know the key products and demonstrate them virtually and in front of a customer.
Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in customer accounts.
Develop and implement new sales initiatives, strategies, and programs to capture key demographics.
Liaise and develop professional relationships with regional representatives and sales managers.
Work closely with the business unit's product managers to provide market insights for innovations.
Attend conferences and exhibitions when required to identify opportunities.
Manage relationships with internal stakeholders at headquarters and in the subsidiaries.
Oversee sales forecasting and financial invoicing for all department activities within the set budget.
Manage sales and cost budgets and update financial records.
This Sales Team Leader role can be carried out from home office with substantial travel activities.
That’s what you bring along:
Master's degree in biology, chemistry or a related field.
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a sales leadership role.
Experience with sales of laboratory equipment or reagents is a plus.
Strong leadership and motivational skills to guide and support a team.
Well organized and systematically acting personality.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze and interpret sales data and metrics to set up a plan.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
Ability to travel across Europe as needed.
Fluent in German and very good in English (C1 Level); fluent in French and other local languages is an additional plus.
