What we do & who we are
At the Fondue Villa & Garden, we provide a truly authentic and fun fondue experience. We started in the summer of 2022 and have quickly become the number 1 fondue restaurant in the Interlaken area, with the majority of five-star reviews on Google, Tripadvisor, and HappyCow. We achieve this by offering a unique experience.
We offer many unique features, including seven different side dishes (included in the price), fondue made from local Alp cheese, and various fondue flavors (e.g., pesto, garlic). Our double & triple caquelons allow you to try multiple flavors at once, and we also provide creamy vegan almond fondue, chocolate fondue, ice cream fondue, personal storytelling for each table, and a history lesson about fondue, which is Switzerland’s national dish. Additionally, we have a range of garden games and fondue-themed entertainment options. With all of this, we are an ‘Erlebnis Restaurant’ with a twist, making it interesting, fun, and demanding at peak times.
This summer, we are adding fondue cooking classes, a fondue picnic backpack, and several other outdoor activities that will start and end at our fondue villa.
Our mission:
At our restaurant, we are passionate about creating an enjoyable and unique dining experience for our guests through outstanding hospitality, storytelling, and the national fondue dish. We strive to create an inviting space where friends, family, and strangers can come together to enjoy the national Swiss dish combined with cheesy activities, creating a memorable dining experience.
Fondue Villa & Garden
We are located in a 1901 Swiss villa, which also houses the Adventure Hostel, making it a fun and lively place to work. For the summer, we have an amazing garden where we will serve our fondue and all the fun games. We love the hostel and traveler vibes, and while serving fondue, we often become ad hoc tour guides by providing our guests with great travel tips and secret scenic spots.
