Job Description
We seek an experienced international Project Manager to oversee the delivery of our AO Milestones program, ensuring timely completion across multiple workstreams. The successful candidate will work closely with the AO Milestones Program Owner and an international project team to drive operational excellence, manage stakeholders, and establish project management standards and capabilities within the AO Education Institute.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Develop project management processes that support product development and efficient life cycle management with focus on innovation, business value, and quality.
2. Support the Product owner in developing and implementing a scalable project management framework across the organization.
3. Oversee the successful delivery of the AO Milestones project goals, managing complex global workstreams with diverse stakeholders.
4. Lead cross-functional teams to ensure project success, including curriculum design, platform development, and implementation.
5. Drive strategic project goals and process improvements to enhance AO Milestones' competitiveness in the global medical education market.
6. Ensure the integration of human-centered design principles into all program phases.
7. Introduce agile project management, visual project management, and other effective project management methods.
8. Accountable for managing project timelines, risks, and resources to deliver high-quality outcomes.
9. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
10. Monitor program KPIs to ensure performance aligns with business and educational objectives.
Main Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in project management, education, or a related field.
2. Project management education, PMP or similar certifications, and training in change management preferred.
3. Proven track record in international project management, preferably in the educational sector or medical devices.
4. Strong preference for an independent, proactive, and goal-oriented work approach to apply expertise and foster collaboration in achieving fast-paced goals in line with management expectations and project timelines.
5. Extensive experience managing cross-functional teams in matrix organizations.
6. Strong expertise in Scrum and Agile methodologies.
7. Focus on targets and results, showing a high level of endurance, tolerance, and resilience.
8. Strategic and operational mindset with the ability to balance competing priorities.
9. Strong understanding of human-centered design principles and their application in educational projects.
10. Ability to navigate and manage complex stakeholder landscapes.
11. Proficiency in English.
