Your mission
As Downstream Process Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the effort to develop processes to efficiently extract our indulgent cream. You will work with microbiologists, downstream engineers, and food technologists to improve the yield and ensure the yeast has properties for a desirable final product. As our second hire, your role will be pivotal in making dairy-free indulgence a reality for consumers worldwide.
What you need to succeed
Masters in Biotechnology, Food Processing or equivalent
Ph.D. within the area and/or > 3 years industry experience
Experience in experimental design, statistical data analysis
Experience with methods of yeast cell lysis
Experience with dairy processing
Willingness to learn quickly new things
