As an APL Sr. Associate, Systems & Process Management, you'll maintain interface stability and quality between our global systems. You'll actively support overall activities of a high-volume transaction, fast-paced organization. You'll guarantee process governance when implementing new processes. You'll achieve operational excellence while complying with Alcon standards. You'll collaborate with cross-functional groups, manufacturing, and warehouse operations and provide excellent customer service against market strategies within correct time frames.
Responsibilities
* Provide Operational Excellence:
Manage all inbound and outbound transactions into and out of worldwide APL inventory locations, including returns. Ensure transactions are processed and synchronized in various different systems.
* Ensure Advanced Support:
Analyze and solve process and technical issues identified as Idocs errors in collaboration with global cross-functional groups. Provide timely resolutions and minimize impact on affiliate/market.
* Responsible of Inventory Reconciliation:
Supply and analyze data to ensure APL system and warehousing systems match in both value and volume. Identify root cause for any differences and support implementing fixes or process improvements.
* Ensure Supply Chain and Trading Environment Compliance:
Comply with appropriate regulatory authorities and laws, including customs, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), Alcon Financial Controllers Manual (AFCM), etc. Coordinate, implement, and oversee required procedures.
* Provide Customer and Operational Excellence:
Actively support all product launches/extensions/discontinuations/special promotions.
* Manage International Orders:
Work closely with DC/ICDC, manufacturing plants, and planning teams to ensure prompt responses and timely processing of orders to meet affiliate/market requirements.
Requirements
* Education:
Higher Education in Supply Chain or Business Administration with at least 3 years of demonstrated experience for large multi-national organizations.
* Languages:
Fluency in English essential. French and German is a plus.
* Experience:
Ability to drive results and meet program and project deadlines. Excellent analytical skills paired with proactive and action-oriented attitude in driving projects. Ability to think creatively and challenge status quo. Previous experience in SAP.
