Director Trade Marketing and Business Development

Our global operations in Germany and the United Kingdom enable our worldwide reach and we are gearing up to expand our footprint in multiple territories.
We are on the lookout for a seasoned senior executive to assist our CEO in overlooking our HQ operations and propel GLASSTEC into the next chapter of growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist the CEO in handling overall GLASSTEC Schweiz Gmbh operations such as Business Office administration, supply chain and project management.
* Management and coordination of daily operations between the Business Office and Warehouse, Workshop and onsite installation operations.
* Fleet and manpower management of daily and weekly project schedules.
* Key Account Management of relationships with top Swiss and international clients through physical visits and frequent interactions.
* Manage business partners and explore avenues to expand and strengthen product portfolio.
* Planning, designing and quoting of medium to large scale project estimations, whilst ensuring implementation within budgets.
* Expand regional operations in Germany and UK with new business partners and clientele.
* Formulate from concept to design, and implement marketing campaigns for enhancing the brand and lead generation, with appropriate localization.
* Implement and manage a robust business support service for customer queries, order management and complaint resolution process.
* Streamline and formalize inter-company ordering and distribution.
* Develop and expand professional services and in-house product solutions verticals.
* Provide market insights, trends and research papers on construction and glazing industry to the CEO for strategic planning and budgeting.
Key Qualifications and Experience
* 15+ years of professional experience with 10 years in leadership positions in B2B organizations.
* Masters and Degree in Business or relevant trade qualifications including professional marketing qualification such as CIM.
* Awards, recognition or honorary mentions and quotes for individual or key projects.
* Fluency in English with additional conversant or written abilities such as German and Arabic.
* Experience in working in a recognized and leading global brand with footprints in EMEA, Europe, Asia, Hong Kong and Australia.
* Having managed customers and business partners located in multiple territories with extensive experience in handling large corporates, state departments and government agencies.
* Has operational acumen in managing local and international teams.
* Handled projects in setting up of new operations, projects from ground up and successfully meeting deliverables.
* Experience in a combination of manufacturing, construction, and information technology industries.
* Knowledge in facility management, project management and coordination, technical design and prototyping.
* Additional experience in condominium and commercial high rise in interior and exterior glazing systems.
* Knowledge and expertise in BIPV systems for commercial highrise buildings.
* End to end warehouse management and custom clearances, with cross border transshipments of import, export and distribution.
* Managing operational centres for sales, customer services and local warehouses located in multiple countries.
* Managed marketing communication strategies on digital platforms based on the target market and strategic goals.
* Experience in being a consultant or provide consultancy services for global clients or projects.
