As an Application Support Engineer, you will play a key and valued role in ensuring our customers' success with MATLAB and the suite of MathWorks products. Your responsibilities will include resolving customer-reported issues across a wide range of products, applications, and industries. You will provide essential technical support primarily to customers who utilize MATLAB/Simulink as a platform for the Model-Based Design (MBD) process in cutting edge product development. Additionally, by offering insightful feedback to our development team, you will significantly contribute to the continuous improvement of our product lines. Responsibilities
Providing solutions to resolve customer issues by leveraging MATLAB / Simulink as the standard tool for embedded control system development.
Demonstrating detailed usage for embedded applications using basic examples, when necessary.
Resolving complex problems, such as those caused by the technical operation of multiple products, during the practical stage of the Model-Based Design (MBD) process.
Contributing to the resolution of customer issues by understanding their advanced research and development needs and providing feedback to developers.
Collaborating with appropriate departments when it becomes difficult to provide direct or simple solutions to customers.
Creating articles (FAQs) to accumulate technical knowledge and provide a self-service answer system to customers.
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree and 3 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree, or equivalent experience) is required.
